Week end at Alaska

Anchorage, AK: Anchorage Away
Talk glaciers, totems and Alaskan king crab in this spirited American city.

Tackle Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, a winding path that ascends ten miles from downtown Anchorage to Kincaid Park with views of Mt. McKinley–North America’s tallest peak–ships dawdling in Cook’s Inlet, and the occasional moose, whale, or eagle.

Head south along Seward Highway to Portage Glacier, the dramatic geological product of Father Time and Mother Nature. This mammoth hanging glacier and its offspring lake are wondrous to see. After, warm up at the cozy Glacier Brewhouse, where you can knock back a Honey Maibock (or a Coke) while waiting for your wood spit-grilled meat, king crab legs, or herb-crusted fish.

Thrill-seekers, spend a day whitewater rafting in the smooth rapids of Matanuska River or the not-so-smooth white crests of Lion Head. Whether you’re in for a peaceful float down the river or a white-knuckle splash ‘n soak adventure, Anchorage delivers.

FIRE FESTIVAL IN INDIA

Published by admin under Tourist Attraction

Celebration of fires in India is also known as DIWALI. It is very attractive festival for tourists. On this day everywhere lots of lightening & fire crackers are shown. This is looks like New Year celebration in Australia & America.

The Story of DIWALI: Lord Rama was a great warrior King who was exiled by his father Dashratha, the King of Ayodhya, along with his wife Sita and his younger brother Lakshman. Lord Rama returned to his Kingdom Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, in which he put an end to the demon Ravana of Lanka, who was a great Pundit, highly learned but still evil dominated his mind. After this victory of Good over Evil, Rama returned to Ayodhya. In Ayodhya, the people welcomed them by lighting rows of clay lamps. So, it is an occasion in honor of Rama’s victory over Ravana; of Truth’s victory over Evil. So, INDIAN people are celebrating the DIWALI festival.

This is the most important & attractive festival in INDIA.  Mostly it is celebrated in whole India but Calcutta & Mumbai mostly celebrated. You can purchase some fashionable Indian dresses. So, come and visit DIWALI festival In INDIA.

We will provide you HOLLIDAY packages, Air tickets, Hotel Bookings, etc.at cheapest cost. Come and enjoy this festival this year.
